When Dan first started, his database consisted of 300 names on a spreadsheet and he made a commitment to growing this. At this point, Dan as a database of over 9,000 people, all of which signed up to be on his database. Dan discusses how he wanted to become the "unofficial mayor" of his town and be a household name in his community. Dan did this through experiences and community events.
